    I am seeking information on the family of Edward JONES. Edward died in Louisa County ca. 1783. Wife Sarah died in Rockingham County North Carolina in 1787. Children listed in Sarah's will were Sarah w/o James GENTRY, Elizabeth w/o John WHITWORTH, Edward Jones and Effy w/o Benjamin COOK.

    Seeking infoon the MANLEY and MCCLAIN / MCLAIN / MCLANE. Neeed inof on the Family of George McClain who married Tabitha MANLEY. Had a daughter Lucretia who married Francis Nelson MODENA. HAve alot of info on the families of the Modena's back to Italy. Who is George's parents? Lucretia was born 5 June 1833 and died 18 Jan 1912. She died at the home of her daughter in Delaware.

    Seeking information on the families of the MODENA'S, GIANNINI families that came over from Italy. Who did Giovanni Francesco (Francis) Modena marry? Her first name was Patricia. The Giannini family is Francis' sister's family. She married Antonio Giannini in Italy. Do have the Modena's back to Italy. Need HELP! They were all over. Lousia, Ablemarle Orange Counties who knows where else.

Listed his place of residence as Newport News at the time of his marriage. Per. Register of Marriage, 1891. Occupation: shoemaker. According to the 1910 census he owned his own shop & home. He is listed in Burkeville Town in this census. Kate - Status shows as divorced per 1910 U.S. Census, Nottoway County, Ennumeration District 71 Isaac SHELTON - Spouse Nancy, parents of Julian as listed in the Register of Marriage, 1891 Sidney E SHELTON, b about 1864. d before 1900 (?) Son of Julian SHELTON - Spouse Nannie BRAXTON, b Nov 1865. Sidney's siblings may have included William SHELTON, A. SHELTON, Ann E. SHELTON, Cory W. SHELTON, Jennie E. SHELTON, Joe SHELTON and John (Ino) SHELTON. Source - 1870 census, Amilia County. Sidney E. SHELTON, born Mar 8, 1892 in Berksville, VA, d Aug 24, 1975 in Baltimore, MD. My brother and I are having difficult tracing these families back any further into slavery. We need any help we can get with discovering plantations named SHELTON or SCOTT.

    I am looking for any info on the Francis Hester or Robert Hester family. Francis was from New Kent County and died in Louisa about 1720. Robert Hester and his sister Mary were children of Francis ,born in New Kent Co. in 1686 and 1683 respectively but lived most of their lives in Louisa.Any help you could give would be appreciated.

    Looking for parents of Archibald ANDERSON and his sisters, Anne, Mary, and Lettice ANDERSON who lived in Lancaster Co. VA in 1835. They applied for bounty land as heirs of David ANDERSON of Louisa Co. VA. The latter ANDERSON was purported to have been a midshipman in the VA Navy during the Revolutionary War.

    Am trying to trace the ancestry (siblings, too) of William JOHNSON, b. about 1800, married Fannie LEWIS Nov. 18, 1818. He was Sheriff of Spotsylvania County, probably during the mid-1800's. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
