    BRANHAM, GIBSON, DALTON, LEMAY, LANDERS, AILSTOCK Seeking information on and/or descendants of Benjamin Branham whose Louisa County will (dated 24 Aug 1794, proven 13 Apr 1795) names children Nathaniel (m. 1795 to Patty Napper), Benjamin Jr. (moved to NC??), Susanna (had children by Gideon Gibson), Sarah/Sally, Agnes (w/o Annis Lemay), Mary (w/o John Dalton), and Peggy (w/o Kimbrough Landers or Sanders). Descendants lived in a tight-knit neighborhood in western Louisa around the old site of Gibson's Mill, which had been established in the early 1700s by Benjamin Branham's father-in-law, Gilbert Gibson. Also interested in the family of Michael Ailstock (d. 1795 in Louisa), whose children were Joseph, Michael Jr. (moved to Albemarle Co.), Absolem (moved to Rockbridge Co.), Mary, Elizabeth (m. Thomas Mason), and Susanna. Any information on any of these families in Louisa would be greatly appreciated.

    I am looking for any information on Joseph and Jerusha PULLIAM who were living in Louisa County VA around 1759. I have reason to believe that they could be the parents of my 4th great-grandfather, Thomas Pulliam who died in Rutherford County NC prior to 1795. If anyone is researching this family, I would love to hear from you in the hope of finding a connection. Thomas also had a brother, William, who named executor of his Will.
