CLACK, THOMSON posted by Randall G. Clack on Saturday, July 4, 1998

My 4great grandfather, Moses Clack, Sr. (c.1720-1792) lived in Louisa County most of his life. He married (1) Susie Woods about 1750 in Louisa Co., then married (2) Susannah H. Thomson, daughter of Thomas Thomson, in Louisa Co. circa 1763. In 1765, in an Amherst County deed, Thomas Thomson gave to Moses and Susannah 105 acres on the headwaters of Beaver Creek. Moses and Susannah lived on the land until Moses died in 1792. In 1799, the land was sold to William Wood, Jr., by Moses Clack, Jr., on an Albemarle County deed. Can anyone tell me where this land is located? Does anyone have other information on these CLACK and THOMSON Louisa County families?

FRANCIS LEA seems to be related to the FRANCIS LEA who died in Louisa County in the 1750s. I need information on the sons of FRANCIS LEA, namely JOHN LEA, FRANCIS W. LEA and GIDEON LEA.
