  • NELSON, SNELL posted by Nancy Protzman on Thursday, August 31, 2000
  • Email: protzman@mail.slc.edu

My g-g-grandfather was William Nelson SNELL (1812 SC-1875 AL). His parents, according to family writings, were Lucy Epsy NELSON (b.c. 1794) and Adam Snell (1742 VA or SC-1820 SC). Several family sources said there was a Louisa County, VA connection. Perhaps Lucy Epsy Nelson came from there. We think that William had two half--brothers, John Snell and Allen Snell. Perhaps they were born in Louisa County. Any help will be welcome.
