    Seeking information on Thomas ANDERSON, born February 10, 1733, is supposed to have been from Northumberland, England. Settled first in Gloucester, Virginia where he is said to have married Frances JONES, born May 11, 1733. They married March 29, 1754. They moved to Hanover County and settled at "Laurel Branch" along the Little River near Caroline Co. line. They had ten issue, many of which settled in Louisa County. They include: Martha - unmarried, Matthew, born September 1, 1761 married Mary TAnner, Mary, born August4, 1763 married John HOPE, Frances(Fanny) born July 26, 1765 married Robert CLOPTON, John born May 3, 1767 married Mary TREVILIAN, William born January 18, 1769 - unmarried, Elizabeth born January 5, 1770 married Benjamin Burton HOPE, Sally born November 1, 1772 married George BAVER (2) R. Harris, Nancy born May 14, 1775 married William HARRIS, Thomas 2nd born October 26, 1778 married Lucy TREVILIAN. May be kin to the Andersons of Goldmine, Virginia? I am seeking any information especially in regards to Thomas and Frances.

    Searching for identity of Rebecca CHAMBERLAYNE who appears in the 1770 titheables list for Trinity Parish. I believe that she was the wife of Richard Chamberlayne, son of William Chamberlayne and Elizabeth LITTLEPAGE, and mother of General William Byrd Chamberlayne (War of 1812) and Ann Kidley Chamberlayne.

    searching for information on Lee Franklin McGehee, born March 14, 1881. Married to Stella Wood on 4 May 1903 in Richmond, VA. Specifically looking for information about Lee's father who I believe to be Garret C. McGehee married to Georgiana Harris. Can anyone confirm this? Also, can anyone provide any information as to the decendancy of Garret McGehee? I believe there are other Garret McGehees in the family line, but I can not be sure. Thank you.

    On Oct. 15, 1790 in Louisa Co., Reuben Cason m. Lucy McGeHee, dau. of John McGehee and Ann (Graves) McGehee. Other spellings seen include Mackgehee, McGee, etc. Have information about their son Fendall Carr Cason; want more information about Reuben, Lucy and their parents. John Mackgehee's will proved Sep. 14, 1801 mentions Lucy Cason, plus sons William, John, Augustine, Edward, and daughters Elizabeth Bond, Mary, Susan Mallory, Agnes, Sarah, Barbara Groom and grandson Dabney McGehee.
