    RODES, THOMSON -- Searching for information about Captain William Thomson (b 8-13-1727, d 8-27-1778), his wife Ann Rodes (b 12-26-1734, d 7-29-1802) and one of their sons, Asa Thomson (b 1-25-1764, d 10-2-1842). I'm looking to verify dates and places and perhaps extend the family line more than I already have. I'd also like more information about how William Thomson became a Captain. Thanks!

    I'm looking for anyone who might have connections to : John PATTERSON b. ca1755 Bedford Co.VA m. Elizabeth MERRIWETHER b. 5 Feb 1757 St. James Northern Parish, Goochland, VA.....they were married 27 Dec 1779 in Louisa Co.VA. I know that they had one son....William PATTERSON b. ca1780 and am sure that they must have had other children, I'm interested in finding out who they were and the parentage of John and Elizabeth. I note that several MERRIWETHER families were living in Louisa Co....hoping to find a link!

    RICE, Ann: I am looking for information on Ann Rice 1735-1826 as well as her husband John BULLOCK 1725-1785. They were living with their children at a plantation called Whitehall (Lickinghole Branch at Little River). Any information on either of them or on Whitehall would be appreciated.     I am looking for John BULLOCK 1725-1785 and his wife Ann RICE 1735-1825 who lived at WHITEHALL in Louisa County. I am also interested in knowing whether Whitehall is still in existance (between Lickinghole Branch and Little River). Any help would be appreciated.

    Looking for info on Martha TUDOR (or Tuter), who married Thomas ALMOND in Louisa Co., VA on 6-1-1795; and Patsy Tudor, who married John Almond in Louisa Co., VA on 10-25-1812. I believe Martha and Patsy may have been the same person, and may have been the daughter of Robert Tuder, of Brunswick Co., VA. Thanks for any help.

    LEONARD (Langard) - I am searching for information on David Leonard who was from Louisa County, VA. Born about 1739 or before. His wife's name is unknown. He had two brothers named James and William Leonard. His 5 children were John born before 1760?, wife Catherine (unk). Margaret "Peggy" born about 1776, husband Lewis SIMS, married 7 Sep 1784, had a son named David Sims. Mary born about 1775, husband William GRADY, married 8 Oct 1793. James born about 1760?, wife unknown, was a soldier in Rev. War. William born about 1760?, was a soldier in Rev. War. John Leonard and his family and his two sisters Mary and Peggy along with their families migrated to Abbeville SC before 1800, probably shortly after the Rev. War. I certainly would appreciate and be thankful to anyone having any information, links or leads. Thanks and GOD BLESS AMERICA!
