I am a descendant of Thomas and Nancy Gentry BAILEY who were early settlers of Louisa co Va. Nancy is the daughter of Nicholas GENTRY of Louisa Co. Thomas served in the American Rev. War and I have the pension filed by his wife Nancy. Thomas and Nancy moved to Hardin Co. Ky in 1810 from Louisa Co. Both died there and it is believed that Thomas was a member of George Washington's Life Guard or body guard service. I have lots of Bailey research of their descendants. Please assist in posting this info to your county website. Thanks

Any information on any related Smiths and all Trainums that lived in the county before 1850 might be helpful. Dabney Smith, a brother to Lucy moved to Todd Co., KY by 1837 with his wife. I am thinking Coleman Trainum and Lucy moved about the same time. They are the grandparents of my great grandmother. All possible leads appreciated.
