Searching for data on Edward STRINGER, wives, and children. Here is what I have pieced together on Edward: Edward born c1698 - died c1778. Edward was attorney busy buying and selling land in Fredericksville Parish, Louisa Co, VA 1745-1774. From 1745-1752 Frances is named as his wife on deeds. Then in 1761 Judith is named as wife on deeds. Do not know surname for either Frances or Judith. Found him on Caswell Co, NC 1777 Tax list and his will dated 10Mar1778 probated in Caswell Co, NC Jun 1779. Now somewhere in all that, Henry PEED met and married Tabitha STRINGER, daughter of Edward STRINGER. Edward's known children named: Lucia, Simeledge, Fanny/Frances, Reuben, James, Sarah, Agnes, Elizabeth, Edmond, Tabitha, Mary and William. Not sure which child belongs to the 2 known wives, Frances and Judith. Tabitha STRINGER Peed did name a daughter Frances. My line is through Tabitha and Henry PEED. Need to know mother of Tabitha and her siblings. Which Stringer line are you researching? Regards, Rae Jean
